Following the strong response to the Ather Rizta Z at the NAIMA Expo 2025 and amid rising petrol prices, Vaidya Energy is now introducing a new variant of the Rizta - Rizta S, in the Nepalese market. The scooter is scheduled to launch across Nepal starting March 27, 2026, and will be available through Ather’s retail network.
Bookings for the Rizta S have opened with an initial amount of Rs 999, which is refundable. Early customers are expected to receive introductory pricing, positioning the scooter as an accessible option in the growing electric two-wheeler segment.
The Rizta S It offers a claimed range of up to 123 km (IDC), making it suitable for regular commuting. Fast-charging capability allows an additional 15 km of range in around 10 minutes.
The scooter includes a 34-litre under-seat storage space, along with a design that prioritizes comfort for riders of different age groups. It has a top speed of 80 km/h, aiming to balance efficiency and performance. Additional features such as reverse mode, AutoHold, and ParkAssist are intended to improve convenience, particularly in urban traffic conditions.
In terms of ownership, the Rizta S is offered with warranty options, including extended battery coverage of up to five years, which may provide added assurance for users transitioning to electric vehicles.
With the Rizta Z already present in the market, the Rizta S serves as a more accessible alternative for those considering an entry into electric mobility, particularly for family-oriented use.
The scooter is scheduled to launch across Nepal starting March 27, 2026, and will be available through Ather’s retail network.
